Ontology
Shared structure and meaning for information in a workspace.
An ontology describes the concepts and relationships a team uses to understand its information. It gives people and AI capabilities a shared vocabulary for the things represented in a workspace.
Think of it as a model of meaning, rather than a folder structure. Files in Drive hold content; an ontology helps describe what that content refers to and how ideas relate. See Explore Ontology for searching and viewing objects. Editing definitions needs a separate management workflow.
