Use Drive
Find, organize, upload, and inspect files in Drive.
Drive is the file area of Emblema. Open Drive from the product menu. The landing view shows the drives you can access, including your personal drive and shared drives. Shared with me is a shortcut to items others have made available to you; Trash holds recoverable deleted items.
Find a file
- Open the relevant drive or use Shared with me.
- Browse folders or use Drive search. You can switch between list and grid views.
- Select a file to see its details. The side panel includes Details, Artifacts, and History; available actions vary by file type and access.
- Use the file's Preview or download control when available. Check the file name and location before using it as input elsewhere.
Add a folder or file
- Enter the personal or shared drive and open the folder that should contain the new item. The New action is unavailable on the all-drives landing view.
- Choose New Folder to organize items, or Upload File to select a local file. The folder view also accepts files dropped onto it.
- Wait for the upload to finish, then find the item in the folder. If it does not appear, check the active folder and any on-screen error before trying again.
- Select the new item and check its access, especially in a shared drive.
Moving or deleting a file changes where collaborators find it. Use the item's action menu only after checking that you selected the intended item. A deleted item can be found in Trash while it remains recoverable.
Drive and the rest of Emblema
You can choose a Drive item as context in A.I. Chat. A workspace canvas is a separate area for nodes and runs; storing a file in Drive does not automatically attach it to every chat or canvas.
